What is included at my accommodation?

We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We provide bed linen, towels, toilet rolls, and luxury Arran Aromatic toiletries including bath/shower gel, shampoo, hand wash, hand creams and soap in every room.

The kitchen is well stocked and you will find tea, coffee beans (and grinder), sugar, tea, milk, salt & pepper, and cleaning products including bin bags, dishwasher tablets and washing liquid for clothes.

Do you allow Dogs?

We welcome up the 3 dogs per party, but they do take a bit of clearing up after so we charge an additional cost of £40 per dog.  We are signed up to Paw For A Break Welcome Charter and provide, dog beds, bowls, poo bags, treats & an outside hose.

How much deposit do I have to pay to secure the booking?

25% deposit is required at outset with the balance due 30 days before arrival.  Plus a security deposit of £250

Do I get a refund if I have to cancel?

If you have to cancel due to legal Government restrictions, i.e. National Lockdown rules then all payments made will be refundable, or you can change the date. For any other reason, the deposit and balance is only refundable once the property has been re-booked. Please read our cancellation policy for more details.

What should I bring?

We provide a Bose SoundTouch 20 speaker, a stereo and CD player, and a PS4, so bring your own music device to pair. The weather is changeable in Skye. We recommend bringing layered clothing and waterproofs so you can wrap up if needed.  It can be very windy around the cottage but down at the beach is calmer so layering works well. Wellington boots are also good on the shore.

There is WiFi but we don’t have Superfast Broadband yet in Skye so speeds can be slow but are good enough for work purposes and general use.
